Local PPP leader shot dead in Karachi

KARACHI ( 2009-04-02 10:55:53 ) :A local leader of Pakistan Peoples Party was shot dead by unidentified assailants in front of his residence in Clifton Block-2 area, here on Thursday morning.

Shams Bihari was sitting in his car along with his daughter when unknown armed men opened fire killing him on the spot. Bihari was shifted to nearby hospital but succumbed to fatal injuries.

According to police he received seven bullets.

A number of PPP workers thronged to his residence after receiving information of the murder.
